The Old Harbour Studio 2 Apartment is located in the Oosterdok area very close to the Central Station. This one bedroom short stay studio has room for a couple who want to have a romantic time in Amsterdam.
This studio is a compact but cozy apartment with a fresh and bright atmosphere to it. A flat screen television and a DVD player are at your disposal to watch your favorite television programs or films. You can put your laptop on the desk to look for a fancy restaurant or a nice club.
The kitchenette has a microwave but no oven. So you can warm up a prepared meal but this kitchen is not suited to prepare an extensive meal. But there is a coffee machine with coffee pads, sugar and milk so as soon as you enter the studio, you can make a fresh coffee.
The double bed is comfortable and fresh and clean linen is changed every week. The bathroom features a shower and a toilet.
Amsterdam has a rich architectural history. The oldest building in Amsterdam is the Oude Kerk or the old church consecrated in 1306. It is located in the oldest part of Amsterdam called the Wallen. This church is known for its old pipe organ. The Dutch composer Sweelinck played on this organ. This is the place where Amsterdam started as a city in the Middle Ages. Wallen means walls so these walls were built to protect Amsterdam from enemy attacks. Behind these walls canals were also used as a defensive line.
The Red Light district is also located on the Wallen. Small, narrow streets and the red lights give this area a snug atmosphere and the ladies of the night make it an exciting place to be.
Amsterdam is also the city of the museums. You can choose out of more than 80 museums. From cultural museums like the Van Gogh museum to the Rijksmuseum with the Night Watch as Rembrandt’s masterpiece or popular museums like the Tattoo or the Sex museum. But close to your studio you can visit the Maritime museum and learn more about the Dutch Navy which ruled all the seas and oceans in the 17th century. Look at the paintings and see how many navy battles the Dutch won under command of Michiel de Ruyter, the best admiral Holland ever had.

Had a great experience with Amsterdam Apartments! The staff was very helpful and very friendly and the apartment itself was clean, easy to use, and had plenty of space for just my fiance and I, despite being a studio apartment. We will definitely use this service again next time in Amsterdam!

The apartment was beautiful and in perfect location. I came with my boyfriend for three nights to visit the town. Ten minutes walk from the coffee shops and bars this was exactly what we were looking for and more. Though the apartment is non smoking there is a smoking area at the end of the corridor which was very useful. The supermarket two minutes around the corner was very convenient and had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

The appartment is very nice, exactly like the photos. The location is perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and the only thing that can be better is a small noise coming from (we think) the ventilation, because it is a old building. But in general we liked a lot.

This is an excellent apartment for a short stay in Amsterdam. It is centrally located, clean and handy to public transport. The only draw-back is, if you happen to get stuck inside for an evening and want to watch some TV, you are stuck with stupid American Sit-coms that seem to run incessantly on the only TV channel available.
