The Old Harbour C Apartment is part of a recent heritage building redevelopment at Amsterdam\'s Oosterdok port. This one bedroom is a short stay apartment is ideal for both business and leisure travelers.

 

Large windows allow plenty of natural light to flow into this stylish apartment. The classic ceilings are high and the wooden floor gives a warm feeling to this apartment.

 

The living room is a nice place to relax after a long day visiting the museums in Amsterdam. Lie on the sofa, put on the flat screen television and enjoy a good film. And if you want to go to sleep then you can transform the sofa into a sofa bed. If you still have some work to do then take a seat at the dining table, open your laptop and check your business emails. Wireless internet is available.

 

The open kitchen has an oven and a microwave and even a dish washer. Dish washing tablets are available. You can use the coffee machine to make a warm cup of coffee to start the day. You will find coffee, milk and sugar in the cupboards.

 

The cozy bedroom has a double bed and cupboards for your clothes. The bathroom has a nice shower but also a bath tub. In the hallway there is a separate toilet. So two persons can go to the toilet and take a shower at the same time.

Location

Your apartment is seven minutes by foot away from the Central Station so it is also close to the centre part of the city. The Oosterdok area is currently developing modern buildings of great architecture value like the Amsterdam Library and Muziekgebouw, home to the famous jazz club Bimhuis. In this area there are several museums. The Maritime museum even has a real, old steamship dating back to 1900.

 

Nemo is a science centre or science museum in the Oosterdok area. You can do your own tests in a giant science lab where you can locate DNA and learn more about different kinds of science.

 

The Jewish Historical museum is a museum dedicated to Jewish history, religion and culture. This museum has more than 11.000 art, ceremonial and historical objects and they tell the story how the first Jews arrived, how they integrated in Dutch society and about the cultural interchange with non-Jewish countrymen.
