Jordaan Laurier Apartment A Amsterdam

This apartment is fully able to provide a group of six with comfortable accommodation and a location to be envied, offering the best of Amsterdam experience.

Cross the doorstep and enjoy the sense of space and tranquility enveloping the interiors of this wonderful place. Recharge your batteries in this soothing setting and get ready for some exciting explorations of the Venice of the North.

The gentle mixture of colors found inside is bound to set in a truly good mood. The spacious daily room offers a lounge-like feel and is furnished with a set of many useful features, including a comfortable sofa, a flatscreen TV, a designer armchair, some storage space and a big dining table complete with a set of chairs, found a bit deeper inside the place. Next to this classy dining section you’ll also find a richly-equipped open-plan kitchen, supplied with many amenities essential for some homelike cooking.

The innovative layout of this great place involves two bathrooms, both fitted with a shower, sink and a toilet. This apartment comprises as many as three intimate bedrooms – each furnished with a pair of single beds granting a sound sleep and some additional furniture to help you store your belongings. Notice that some of the facilities are placed on the lower floor accessed via a small flight of stairs, so this might be a factor when considering some special requirements of some of the travelers.

The district of Jordaan is known to be one of the most interesting neighborhoods of Amsterdam, famous for its casual, laid-back atmosphere, bohemian charm, intriguing architecture and – of course – the abundance of fantastic eating establishments (Rainarai, Amigo, Nomads), cafés (Rooie Nelis, Struik, Paradox), coffee shops, boutiques, galleries and other notable attractions lining the picturesque alleys gridding the astonishing Canal Belt.

Speaking of notable attractions, you should definitely visit the nearby Anne Frank House – a museum of great historical significance, featuring the content of the diaries by one of the most famous Jewish victims of the Holocaust; the place oozes with history and a veil of mystery – absolutely recommended. Right next to it there’s a beautiful architectonic landmark – the Westerkerk, seen already from afar. Apart from that, if you head a bit to the south along the scenic bank of Prinsengracht you’ll get to a very interesting Houseboat Museum – we hope it inspires you to rent a pedal boat to admire the city from a bit different perspective.

Moreover, it’s only a matter of a short stroll to the east to find yourself in the very center of the city – follow the street of Rozengracht and in a couple of minutes you’re bound to see the majestic Dam Square marking the border of the heart of Amsterdam, full of many diverse attractions.
