This modern Amsterdam accommodation is located just a 5 minute walk from the city’s most popular park Vondelpark where you can relax by the pond, visit the film museum, open air theatre or one of the park restaurants or take kids to the playground area. Nearby is the busy Leidseplein where you will find many restaurants, clubs, shops, daily street performers, Chicago Boom which has performed live comedy and the Stadsschouwburg theatre which is the former home of the National Ballet and Opera and nowadays may be familiar to football fans as it’s the place where Amsterdam’s AFC Ajax comes to celebrate in front of a big crowd whenever they have a major win. Just down the road is the Museumplein which is a large square at the heart of the Museum Quarter and home to the popular museums Van Gogh, Stedelijk and Rijksmuseum. The square is often used for events and has lots of green park space which is nice for a picnic. There is also a basketball court, skate ramp, swings and a small pond which freezes in winter that people then use for ice-skating.
