A highly sophisticated and well-designed apartment with three en-suite bedrooms suitable for six people and set in central Amsterdam close to top city attractions and central station.
The Captain Canal House 2 is a great example of authentic Amsterdam accommodation very beautifully designed to create something even more special for a short stay visitor, whether you’re here for leisure or business. The apartment has a traditional 17th century canal house design with a long narrow space, tall ceilings and large windows through which you have a great canal view and which make the apartment feel very bright and airy. This classy apartment rightfully boasts three fantastic large en-suite bedrooms with fully-furnished bathrooms; two with double beds and the third with two single beds. There is also a separate toilet that can be accessed from the hallway. There are two elegant living areas, one with a sofa, armchair, coffee table and other small furnishings and the other with two armchairs, cabinet and a funky black and white ‘cow’ rug. There is also a fabulous modern white kitchen fully equipped and in the same area a dining table and comfortable chairs with a large lamp shade over it which creates a great intimate setting during dinner.
This short stay apartment has a quintessentially Amsterdam location with beautiful canals all around. Why not start your visit with a scenic and idyllic canal boat tour that you can jump on by central station which is only a 10 minute walk away. The apartment is located in the Nieuwmarkt area which borders with the Red Light District but is far enough away with no red lights in site ensuring that your stay is peaceful and family friendly if visiting with children. Dam Square is a 15 minute walk away where you can admire the National Monument and the Royal Palace. The popular Artis Zoo is also a 15 minute walk away but in the opposite direction. Amsterdam is well known for its museums and some of the most famous such as the Rijks and Van Gogh are in the Old South District by Museumplein which you can reach via trams 16 or 24 leaving from central station towards VU medisch centrum. In this area you can also enjoy fine dining at Momo or Sama Sebo or visit the nearby Vondelpark for a relaxing stroll admiring the vast greenery and part activities.
