Featuring stunning original architectural details, the 3-bedroom Brewers Loft Apartment Amsterdam sleeps up to 4 guests and is located in an original canal side warehouse building dating back to 1643.
You are sure to fall in love with the huge shuttered windows, sleek wooden floorboards and exposed wooden ceiling joists that run throughout the apartment reminding you of its age. Get comfortable in the living room area. This long bright room measures an incredible 80 square metres. You will find a huge L-shaped sofa and chair where you can relax with your guests and enjoy the flat screen TV provided. It is installed with plenty of international channels to keep everyone entertained. If you have extra guests they can sleep on the sofa which converts easily into a bed. At the far end of the room you will find a splendid fully fitted kitchen where you can prepare all your favourite meals for your guests. Enjoy you delicious creations together at the large dining table and chairs for more comfortable and sociable mealtimes. The apartment has three bedrooms in total. Each room is fitted with good quality storage furniture and boasts the same cool creamy simple décor as the rest of the apartment encouraging restful sleep. Two rooms have single beds which can be pushed together if required whilst the third room has a double. One room features the original warehouse loading bay doors which can be opened wide to let fresh air into the building and provides views of the canal. Please note however that there is no safety rail on their doorway and for this reason alone this apartment is not recommended for families with children. The highlight of the apartment has to be the magnificent balcony where you can relax with your guests on a warm evening with a bottle of wine or perhaps grab some quiet time alone with a good book in comfort.
The delightful Brewers Loft Apartment Amsterdam is located in the very heart of the city only a few minutes’ walk to the west of Central Station which will please visitors travelling with lots of luggage. The building is nestled amongst the iconic tall and wonky canal side warehouses in a quiet fairy tale like setting. This is the famous Canal Belt district that has come to represent Amsterdam to millions of people around the world. It’s an incredibly romantic setting with the many pretty houseboats bobbing at the water’s edge and charming little foot bridges that light up atmospherically at night time.
You will find a wealth of shopping opportunities on your doorstep. Simply cross two streets to the south to find Nieuwendijk, one of the two main shopping streets in the city. It leads to the iconic Dam Square and continues at the other side, becoming the famous Kalverstraat. Both streets are packed with all the major local and international high street chains as well as some independents stores along the way. Jump one street north from the apartment and you will discover a long road heading west known as the Harlemmerstraat. This was recently voted the best independent shopping street in the country. It features specialist cheese and bread shops, interesting gift boutiques, vintage and modern clothing stalls, cafes and a cinema. At the end of the street lies the pretty Waterpark where you can enjoy a picnic under the trees or alongside one of the interesting water features. There are also a small number of bars and cafes where you can grab a coffee and a muffin or something more substantial.
The Noordermarkt (Northern Market) is just a few minutes’ walk along the road form the apartment. Here you can purchase anything from antiques, textiles, vintage clothing, unusual food ingredients and organic farmers’ produce depending on the day you visit.

We enjoyed our stay in Brewers Loft. It is within easy reach of the station - a bonus as it was raining when we arrived! Hus, the appartment owner was very attentive, gave us recommendations and sorted the few problems we had swiftly. We would go back

This apartment was an absolute delight. Hus, the owner, was very nice and helpful and accommodated our off-hours arrival. The house is a regular stop for snapshots from the canal boats because it is so pretty and historical. The location is superb, an easy walk to the train station and tram rides to the big museums, with shopping for fresh fruit and pastries a block away and a coffeehouse next door. A perfect home base to feel like a Hollander!
