Occupying a perfect position alongside one of the city’s much-loved canals, this apartment provides a perfect retreat for you and your guests. Featuring traditionally high ceilings and huge windows, the apartment exudes a peaceful ambiance in which you can unwind in comfort. The open plan living area, comprising of an L-shaped sofa, armchair, coffee table and flatscreen television with DVD player, provides access to a delightful balcony. Here you can sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The elegantly designed kitchen has everything you will need in order to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be eaten together at the attractive dining table.
Each of the apartment’s three bedrooms provide a calm, tranquil atmosphere, allowing you to appreciate a good night’s sleep. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with welcoming double beds and bedside tables. The spacious abode is completed by not one but two light and refreshing bathrooms, one consisting of a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower, the other fitted with a toilet, sink and shower cubicle.
Please note that this apartment is available for group bookings of up to 10 guests by opening up another large bedroom and bathroom and supplying air beds for the 9th/10th persons if required. Please contact customer services before booking if you would like to take advantage of this. Party and drugs in the apartment are not allowed and Balcony not to be use after 23:00 at night.
Ideally located close to a number of cafes, restaurants and shops, this apartment is situated at the edge of the chic Jordaan district. This sought after area offers a wide range of fashionable boutiques, trendy bars and fine dining establishments and is popular with tourists and locals alike. The Jordaan was once an overcrowded, poor neighbourhood, housing several slums, however in the 1970s it received a much needed facelift and was transformed into the stylish area that it is today. Within the Jordaan, you will find the beautiful Westerkerk (Western Church), the largest church in Amsterdam. Displaying fine examples of impressive architecture, the Westerkerk is known for its 85 metre high tower which can be seen across the city.
Nearby is the largest public park in the city, attracting around 10 million visitors every year. The Vondelpark, which is named after the poet Joost van den Vondel, covers an impressive 120 acres and dates back to the late 1800s. The park is home to an array of picturesque gardens, a magnificent lake and an open air theatre and provides the perfect place for a relaxing picnic. The famous sights of the city are all within easy reach, either on foot or by taking the tram from the De Clercqstraat stop just a few minutes away.
